無線ルータ買い換えたいな～とずっと思ってて、電話線もろとも新調しちゃいました。
そんなわけで、どれだけ変わったのかをまとめたので書きます。
変える前はこんな構成でした。
モジュラージャック
↓
謎の電話線その1(0.1m)
↓
ADSLスプリッタ(NTTの2003年製)
↓
謎の電話線その2(2.0m)
↓
モデム(NTTのやつ)
↓
無線ルータ(バッファロー WHR-HP-G)
この状態で、ルータからの物理的距離が近い順に
1階のリビングにパソコンA、Androidスマートフォン
1階の和室にパソコンB
2階の部屋1にパソコンC
2階の部屋2パソコンD、Androidタブレット
を配置して、スピードテスト(PC、Android) で各3回測定しまみた。失礼、噛みまみた。

最初の状態での測定結果(単位はMbps)が↓こちら↓
それはそうと、ルータとパソコンCの相性が悪いのか、こいつだけやけに遅いです。
こいつが速くなったらいいな～
ってことで、今回は、電話線2本とADSLスプリッタ、無線ルータを新調しました。
構成はこんな感じに！
モジュラージャック

電話線その1(ELECOM MJ-03TS: 0.3m)
↓
ADSLスプリッタ(ELECOM LD-ADSLSP3)
↓
電話線その2(ELECOM MJ-2TS: 2.0m)
↓
モデム(NTTのやつ)

無線ルータ(NEC Aterm WG300HP)
まずは電話線とADSLスプリッタだけ交換して測定しました。↓結果↓
なんか遅くなってるYO!
買わなくって良かったかもしれん、、、
まぁ、気を取りなおして、ルータを変えちゃいます。
～～数時間後～～
設定に難儀しましたが、なんとか出来たので測定します。はい、結果ど～ん！↓
パソコンC速いぞ！！！
平均速度も2桁に！！！！
これを書いてる時に、有線接続とどんだけ違うんだ？と、ふと思ったので、
ルータのLANポートに挿して測ってみた結果、、、
11.47Mbps
ん？
あぁ、レコーダーの録画をDLNAで飛ばして見てるからかな！
無線でロス無しだったらやばいもんね！
モデム直挿しじゃなきゃわからないですね。
今度気が向いたらやります、今はネットワーク封鎖できません！！！←
そんなこんなで、特に壊れたわけでもなく、なんとなく変えたくなったから引退させられた、WHR-HP-Gさん、5年くらいありがとうございました。
ADSLスプリッタは結構ボトルネックかなぁと思ってたんですが、、、
NTTからの距離的にこれ以上はどうにもならなさそうですね。
802.11aとかacとか、5Ghzは干渉少なくて速そ～ですが、
ADSL戦士には持て余しそうなので、今回は見送りました。
2.4/5Ghz同時利用のルータも検討はしてましたが。
acとか対応させるとなると子機も買わなきゃだし、、、
光回線の方は5Ghzに移行したほうが良いと思います。めっちゃ速いですよ。たぶん。
これであと5年はADSLで戦えるかな！
